The Tomb is a Prerequisite, Not a Failure!

The Tomb is a Prerequisite, Not a Failure!

Three words have reshaped history for over 2,000 years: He is risen.

They've endured not because of a distribution strategy or perfect branding.

They've endured because they speak to a fundamental truth about the human condition.

As a founder, I've been thinking a lot about the Easter story this year. When you build a startup, you live inside a cycle that strangely mirrors this narrative.

You pour your life into something you believe in, only to watch it get crushed by the market, by doubt, or by metrics that refuse to cooperate.

Every founder I know has had their "Friday."

The day the bank account hits zero.

The day the lead investor says no.

The day you sit in your driveway, wondering if you're actually just crazy.

In tech, we worship iteration.

We celebrate the "pivot." But we rarely talk about the deeper engine underneath it all: Hope.

Optimism says, "Things will probably work out." Hope says, "Even if they don't, there is something worth building that outlasts the outcome."

I started ThyWord because I believe we are entering the Meaning Economy.

AI is automating knowledge, tasks, and workflows. But it will never automate meaning.

It cannot replicate the moment a mother whispers a prayer over her child at 2 AM, or the way a piece of Scripture meets you exactly where you are in a moment of despair.

Technology is just the tool. Purpose is the operating system.

In the startup world, we call it a "breakthrough" or a "comeback." In my faith, we call it Sunday.

Whether you're a founder grinding through your Friday, an engineer building in the dark, or a leader carrying a team through uncertainty, remember that the greatest comeback story ever told didn't need a slide deck.

Sunday is coming.
