About

I'm Ajith Joseph (pronounced Ah-ji-th). I live in Jacksonville, Florida, with my family, and I've been in the US since 2012.

I started in 2006 as a Java developer in Chennai, building greenfield systems at Thomson Reuters and Travelport. Over the next decade I moved into DevOps and cloud. I've worked on Azure since 2015, run Kubernetes for years, and today I'm all in on AWS.

In 2020 I started PerfAgents, a synthetic monitoring platform. It grew to about 20 people at its peak, and Testing Mavens acquired the platform in April 2025.

In February 2026 we launched ThyWord. Now we're building Shepherd for churches.

I wrote Product Engineering in the Cloud in 2017, and I've been a technical reviewer for O'Reilly.

Outside work, family comes first. I also run.
