Notes ·

It's Friday midnight.

It's Friday midnight.

Most people are out.

Some are sleeping.

Me? I'm staring at my screen, tweaking ad copy for a prayer app.

My wife and kids are asleep down the hall. The house is quiet. And honestly? This is my favorite hour.

See, founders are clay knights.

We're not shining armor.

We're not polished.

We're molded from dust and grit and late nights and faith that what we're building actually matters.

We crack. We get reshaped. We show up again.

Every founder I know is walking around with invisible clay on their hands.

Saturday nights included. While the world rests, we're still sculpting something we can barely describe to people at dinner parties.

"So what do you do?"

"I'm building a prayer app."

"...oh."

Yeah. That pause. I know it well.

But here's what keeps me going tonight.

15 days to Easter.

15 days until the world remembers that the greatest story ever told started with a stone rolled away.

That resurrection wasn't just a moment. It was a message. Death doesn't get the last word. Neither does doubt. Neither does that "oh."

ThyWord was born because I watched my grandmother pray every single morning in Kerala.

No app. No phone. Just her voice and Scripture.

Somewhere between India and America, I let that fire go quiet. Sunday only. Then barely that.

This app is me rolling my own stone back.

So yeah. It's Saturday now technically.

And I'm still here. Still clay. Still being shaped.

If you're a founder reading this at some unreasonable hour, just know: the fact that you're still awake means you still believe.

That's not hustle culture. That's calling.

15 days.

The tomb didn't stay closed.

Neither will your chapter.

Happy building. Happy believing.
